Chuck Patterson and his tour of OZ

Chuck Patterson will be here for the first week in March, and supported by Naish Australia, you get to meet him! The east coasters do anyway, because he’ll be doing a tour of the shops from the Sunshine Coast, right down the coast to Sydney. Below is the full list of places he’ll be, so if you ever wanted to meet one of stand up paddlings greatest paddlers. Don’t miss it!
But first, a bit of background on the man. After all, if you’re having a conversation with the guy you should probably know a bit about him!
Chuck is the team manager for the SUP division of Naish International. It’s his job to keep the kids motivated and chalking up results on both the competition scene and in their frequent media releases. He’s good mates with guys like Kai Lenny and Robby Naish himself, and at 45 years old he’s fast becoming one of the legends of the sport. With background sports of tow-in surfing and windsurfing, Chuck certainly knows his way around a board, and it shows in his stand up paddling. Back in 2008 he was the Battle of the Paddle champion, and still competes occasionally in both racing and surfing events. He says his favourite boards are the Naish Hokua 8’10”, Javelin LE 14’0”, one for surf and one for the flat - a perfect quiver some would say. And normally he calls either Maui or California home, so it’s a real treat to see him down under!
Check out the dates of his tour below and don’t miss him!
